Pool Closing
Blue Water Pools Provides:
- Removal of handrails and ladders.
- Blowing out return lines, skimmer lines, heater, pump & filter.
- Removal of return fitting and installation of all return plugs after all water has been blown out.
- Removal of pump plugs, filter pressure gauges.
- Antifreeze will be added to skimmer lines, return lines, heater and filter.
Customers responsiblities:
- The day before the closing, lower the pool water as follows:
- Safety mesh & waterbag covers: Lower water 1-4" below return face plates.
- Auto covers: Lower water 2" below skimmer face plates.
- *NOTE: A $75 service surcharge will be assessed if water level is not lowered upon our arrival.
- Once the water has been lowered, leave the pump running on the main drain with the filter in the re-circulate position.
- Add closing chemicals the day before closing after the water level has been adjusted.
- Please place all plugs, skimmer blow out tubes (gizzmos), & covers on pool deck.
- We DO NOT remove pool lights. It is recommended by the manufacturer that they are left in for maximum longevity.
- Please check to make sure your outdoor outlets have power.
